About Shakehaus
The world is in shambles, as it always has been, but we believe filmmakers have the power, and the responsibility, to change things for the better. We believe in work that’s meaningful and entertaining, rooted in themes close to us: class, immigration and geopolitics, animal welfare and anti-cruelty, and personal stories told with authenticity.
Every story deserves its own voice, genre and form, so we work across film, television and audio,. We like the weird, the big-hearted, the spooky, the deadpan and the dreadful. To name a few.
We like to be hands-on, shaping stories together from development all the way through to distribution. We’re an international team (Lithuanian and French), with links across Europe and North America, and we’re actively seeking co-production partnership.
Shakehaus is shaped by our lived experiences and our commitment to inclusivity, equality and sustainability. We know the barriers in this industry because we’ve faced them ourselves, and we’re here to challenge them.
